Dr. Tiago Francetto is a prominent researcher in agricultural mechanization and smart farming technologies. He coordinates the GTM Agrícola research group at UFSM, where he leads cutting-edge studies on machine-soil-plant interaction, precision seeding, and the integration of AI and IoT in agricultural systems
Since 2019, Dr. Francetto has maintained a strong partnership with the RSRG/LAMMA at UNESP/Jaboticabal, contributing to collaborative research, joint publications, and the development of technical resources such as the Manual de Máquinas Agrícolas. His work with RSRG/LAMMA has helped advance intelligent mechanization strategies tailored to tropical agriculture, reinforcing the group's leadership in digital farming innovation.

Dr. Adão Felipe dos Santos

Dr. Adão Felipe dos Santos is a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), where he leads the Research and Extension Group in Digital Agriculture (GPAD). His work focuses on precision agriculture, remote sensing, and machine learning applications for sustainable crop management.
A distinguished alumnus of the RSRG/LAMMA at UNESP/Jaboticabal, Dr. Santos completed his master's, Ph.D., and postdoctoral research under the guidance of Prof. Rouverson Pereira da Silva, with international collaboration from the University of Georgia. His pioneering studies on peanut maturity prediction using remote sensing have contributed significantly to the advancement of digital agriculture in Brazil.
Today, Dr. Santos continues to collaborate with RSRG/LAMMA, fostering innovation and knowledge exchange in smart farming technologies.
