Teaching

Exploring smart harvesting, sowing sustainability!

Teaching

Dr. Rouverson Silva teaches five courses on the São Paulo University Jaboticabal Campus.

The courses are offered to undergraduate students in Agronomy and Animal Science as well as students in graduate courses in the Agonomy (Plant Production and Soil Science).

Undergraduate Courses

Agricultural Machinery

Discipline offered to undergraduate students in Agronomy enables students at the end of the course to be able to know and handle the main agricultural machines and implements, observing the safety and operational quality precepts.

Agricultural Machinery and Mechanization

In addition to the knowledge acquired on agricultural machinery and implements, undergraduate students of the Animal Science course will be able to rationally plan agricultural mechanization..

Applied Mechanics

The main standardized essays on agricultural machines are covered so that students of the Agronomy course can perform them under field conditions.

Graduate Courses

Mechanized Harvesting Systems

At the end of the course students will be able to understand the operation of mechanized systems for harvesting peanuts, cotton, coffee, sugarcane and cereals.

This course is awarded in the Postgraduate Programs in Agronomy (Plant Production and Soil Science).

Quality Control in Agricultural Operations

Quality tools are presented seeking to broaden their use in mechanized agriculture.

This course is awarded in the Postgraduate Program in Agronomy (Plant Production).

Mechanization in Digital Agriculture

The impact of Digital Agriculture on the field of Agricultural Mechanization is discussed, seeking to insert students in the context of information use in the era of Big Data.

This course is awarded in the Postgraduate Program in Agronomy (Plant Production).
