RSRG/LAMMA Coordinating Team
Dr. Ferreira e Silva is a postdoctoral researcher at RSRG/LAMMA – Agricultural Machinery and Mechanization Laboratory at FCAV/Unesp, where he works on projects focused on digital agriculture, with emphasis on data science, artificial intelligence, and agricultural mechanization. He holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Piauí, a master's in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa, and a PhD in Agronomy (Crop Production) from São Paulo State University (Unesp), including a research internship at the University of Georgia (USA).
His academic journey is marked by applied research in Soil Genesis and Classification, Soil Mineralogy, Chemical Attributes, Magnetic Susceptibility (SM), X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (XRF), Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (ERD) and Pedometry. . At RSRG, Dr. Ferreira e Silva contributes to studies on data science, quality of mechanized operations, and yield prediction, with a special focus on underground crops such as peanut and potato, as well as crops like coffee, sugarcane, soybean, and corn.
